X-men Origins: Wolverine actor Ryan Reynolds is to star in an indie film called Buried.
Reynolds played mutant swordsman Wade Wilson – who later becomes Deadpool – in the Wolverine flick. He is also in hit romantic comedy The Proposal alongside Sandra Bullock.

In Buried, the 32-year-old Canadian actor will play a civilian contractor who is kidnapped in Iraq and regains consciousness in a coffin in the desert, armed only with a cell phone, a candle and a knife.
Rodrigo Cortes will direct a script by Chris Sparling, reports Variety, with production beginning …

“Paper Man” kicked off Film Independent’s Los Angeles Film Festival Thursday evening, premiering to a packed audience of sales agents, indie actors and industry execs at Mann’s Village Theater.
