It seems as though actress Scarlett Johansson had no sooner sold her old place in the Hollywood Hills than she and her husband, actor Ryan Reynolds, closed on a house in Los Feliz for $2.9 million.

Built in the late ’60s, the restored Buff & Hensman-designed Wong House has walls of glass looking out on the swimming pool, a walled garden off the master bedroom suite and views of downtown Los Angeles and the ocean. There are two bedrooms, three bathrooms and 2,835 square feet of living space. Two rooms originally used as bedrooms had been converted to an open-plan library and an office by the sellers.

Could Ryan Reynolds Be Replaced in “Deadpool”?

TotalFilm caught up with Ryan Reynolds two weeks after Comic-Con to ask about the rumored “Deadpool” movie, and how it will be connected to “X-Men Origins: Wolverine.”

“The two movies have absolutely no connection at all, that’s how,” he said. This news means that 20th Century Fox could replace Reynolds if the actor decides not to reprise his role. And that’s exactly what’s being rumored now. Even though he is signing on for many non-superhero movies, Warner Bros apparently wants Reynolds to pass on “Deadpool” to focus on “Green Lantern 2.”

At this point Fox is in talks with Robert Rodriguez (Sin City) to direct “Deadpool,” but the helmer has a very busy schedule and has only a small window next year to make this happen. Meanwhile, Reynolds has about six projects in pre-production, making it difficult for him to be available at the same time as Rodriguez.

Buried Movie Review “A REAL SUSPENSEFUL FILM!”

I already know people will start leaving me comments saying how I got to see this movie. And I saw it a couple months ago at the Sundance Film Festival. And I got to see the movie. But I think it might be edited and be different when it comes out in theaters. This film was incredible it took a lot of guts to make. But I’ll warn you that this film isn’t for everyone. Because literarily (not exaggerating) this film really was Ryan Reynolds trapped in a box for an hour and a half. It doesn’t cut away from the box or has flashbacks. But it very suspenseful and enjoyable. It does start to get drag in some scenes. But it gets more exciting. This film may be disappointing to some but if you notice nether of the trailers have any footage of the film at all. But it’s because they don’t want you to know it’s just him in a box.

Story: The story is great and very original. And it is like nothing you’ve seem before! I loved the whole constep of being trapped in the box. I thought it was fantastic. But I really don’t have much to say about the plot because I will just keep repeating the same thing and mention lots of spoilers! Read More

Ryan Reynolds and Bradley Cooper to star in buddy cop movie

According to The Risky Business blog, Ryan Reynolds and Bradley Cooper are set to team up for a new buddy cop comedy to be written by Sheldon Turner, the guy who wrote the fantastic Up In The Air.
The blog says that the story “follows two friends, who are also San Francisco cops, whose fathers were once partners on the police force. The older generation is forced out of retirement to help their sons crack a case, with typically antagonistic results.”

No word on who will play the two fathers in the film as yet, but it all sounds quite exciting.

Neal Moritz, Andrew Panay and Jonathon Komack Martin will produce with J.C. Spink and Chris Bender.

The pitch has been around for around five years, and was previously known as Blowback. The word is that the name has been dropped and is currently untitled.

Just a few weeks ago, the Natural Resources Defense Council released a PSA featuring Ryan Reynolds asking viewers, “What’s the price of a gallon of gas?”. The video is part of a campaign by the organization urging Americans to ask the U.S. Senate to address the BP oil disaster and get back to work on policies concerning climate change.

Now, Reynolds has returned, speaking candidly about the impact of the disaster on him and the crew of “Green Lantern”, which was shot in New Orleans this summer.
